# Brand and content brief

## Positioning

TrueTraceShorts is an everyday digital red-flags and scam self-defense hub for normal people.

Core line:

> One screen. One red flag. One safer move.

## Audience

- People who saw a suspicious message or screen.
- People who clicked and need calm next steps.
- Families and non-technical friends who benefit from simple explanations.

## Tone

- Calm
- Clear
- Helpful
- Trustworthy
- Not dramatic
- Not fearmongering
- No cybersecurity jargon unless it is explained in plain English

## Website role

Short video = fast hook and red flag.

Website = detailed guide, checklist, if-already-clicked steps, SEO page, trust layer, and later monetization/tool context.

## Channel focus

Launch platform scope is deliberately narrow:

- YouTube Shorts
- TikTok

Do not add Instagram, X, Facebook, or other social links until explicitly requested. Every video should use its opening frame as the visual hook / start image, and the companion page should preserve that same visual idea so visitors recognise the guide immediately.

## MVP constraints

- Static only.
- No login.
- No database.
- No forms.
- No newsletter backend.
- No automatic video pipeline yet.
- No heavy animation or 3D.

## Design direction

Modern, fast, mobile-first, high contrast, dark navy base with TrueTraceShorts brand assets:

- Cyan/blue neon ring and highlights from the logo/banner.
- White shield/magnifier symbol as trust and investigation motif.
- Yellow warning accent for red flags.
- Dark blue security-panel look, but restrained enough to avoid hacker clichés.
- Use the real logo in the header/hero/footer and the banner as a subdued hero background layer.
